Underwater Video Competition- Creature Encounters!

Like many of you the team at Dive Master can’t wait for diving to recommence. During the lockdown we thought it would be fun for all our fiends to share some short clips of their underwater creature encounters!

To give you all an incentive to share we’ll be picking our favourite and the winner will in an AKASO V50 X Action Camera

Simply post a video one of your encounters in the comments on the Creature Encounters Competition post on our Facebook page for the chance to win. The winner will be picked and announced on the 31st of May 2020, Terms and Conditions apply.

Terms and Conditions – Dive Master Insurance Facebook Competition ‘Underwater Creature Encounter Video’

1. The Promoter is: Dive Master Insurance, 17-23 Rectory Grove, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, SS9 2HA
2. These terms and conditions apply to the Facebook Underwater Creature Encounter Competition.
3. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
4. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom and Channel Islands aged 18 or over.
5. Employees or contractors of Dive Master Insurance, any person directly or indirectly involved in the running of the competition, or their direct family members are not eligible for the prize.
6. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition.
7. By entering this Competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
8. To enter the Competition entrants must comment their own Underwater Creature Encounter Video on the competition post.
9. The winning entry will be contacted through Facebook and announced in a follow up Facebook post.
10. Entries submitted in any other way will not be accepted.
11. Obscene or inappropriate entries will not be accepted and Dive Master Insurance reserves the right to reject any entries for any reason at its sole discretion.
12. Entries must not infringe the copyright of anyone else and entrants will hold Dive Master Insurance harmless from any claims in relation to their entry alleging that the entry infringes the personal or proprietary right of any other person.
13. Entrants waive their moral rights in the short story, allowing Dive Master to use, copy, modify, adapt and publicly display their entry.
14. All entrants hereby license to Dive Master Insurance the use of their entry for display on any Dive Master Insurance owned or third-party website or other media for publicity purposes.
15. Only one entry (video) will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
16. Dive Master Insurance reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
17. Dive Master Insurance is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
18. The competition winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by Dive Master Insurance.
19. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. The competition winners will be notified the first week of each month. If a competition winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the competition winner and pick a replacement competition winner.
21. Dive Master Insurance reserves the right to substitute any prize for one of equal or greater value.
22. The Competition Prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The Competition Prizes are not transferable.
23. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
